Last Friday, Room 12 had fun exploring fractions. Room 12 were asked to make and find fractions using anything and everything from around the room such as Lego, playdough, paper and math blocks! They had to make sure that if they were making fractions, the parts of the whole had to be equal/ the same. This helped us refresh our minds about what fractions are and ways fractions can be found. Here's a few pictures of our fun creations.
Cool! We are always talking about fractions at home now, especially when we start cutting up a pizza! And we seem to be doing a bit more baking to practice getting 1 cup of flour 1/4 cup of sugar!!
